1. Who we are

InHandCalc ("we", "our", "us") operates the website at inhandcalc.com. We provide free Indian personal finance calculators for informational purposes.

2. What data we collect

InHandCalc is a static website with no backend server and no user accounts. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the financial figures you enter into our calculators. All computation happens locally in your browser.

The only data we may process is:

• Usage analytics: We may use privacy-respecting analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics) to count page visits and understand which calculators are most used. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual users.
• Advertising: We display Google AdSense advertisements. Google may use cookies to serve personalised ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out of personalised ads via Google's ad settings or the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out.
• Contact form submissions: If you contact us via the contact page, we receive your name, email address, and message. We use this only to respond to your query and do not add you to any mailing list.
• Local storage: We store your last-used tax regime preference (new or old) in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device.

3. Cookies

InHandCalc itself does not set cookies. Google AdSense sets its own cookies for ad personalisation. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not affect the functionality of any InHandCalc calculator.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

• Cloudflare Pages — hosting. Cloudflare may log standard web request data (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for security and performance purposes. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Google AdSense — advertising. See Google's privacy policy.
• Google Fonts — typography. Fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which may log your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.

5. Data retention

Since we do not collect personal financial data, there is nothing to retain or delete. If you contact us by email, we retain correspondence for up to 12 months and then delete it.

6. Your rights

Under applicable Indian law (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) and, where applicable, GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Since we hold no financial data and no contact form is currently active, we hold no personal data about visitors.

7. Children's privacy

InHandCalc is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect any data from minors.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of InHandCalc after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
